SLAMP designs, produces and sells modern lamps on the basis of a revolutionary marketing project: to create lamps with irony, innovation, and decorative appeal.SLAMP lamps break loose from the traditionalconservative and haphazard buyers, focusing its appeal on impulse purchasing, with considerable emotional appeal. The SLAMP tube®, the famous icon of SLAMP, has been such a success due to its variety in decoration, created by silk-screening processes, and its highly recognizable set of four sizes, which are adaptable to many functions in the home, from wall lamps to floor lamps.
The innovative light of SLAMP has attracted so many people and has entered millions of homes in Italy and the rest of the world. Due to this, SLAMP is internationally recognized as one of the most popular brands representing the quality of the label, Made in Italy. With the collection, Slampville, decoration has surpassed theory and, thanks to Cristalflex, its preciousness is enhanced with new effects, which can be discovered both in Fiorella and the Swarovski crystals found in Medusa (which confirms all the SLAMP values: high design content and permanent innovation; cross-sectional targets and absolutely in tune with modern trends; irony and vocation at play; and, therefore, the height of creativity). SLAMP, an completely new way both to create light and to decorate.
This is a lovely lamp-- once you get it set up. The assembly instructions were really not very detailed. Also, even once you get the individual branches hooked into the frame of the lamp, we found that we still needed to do quite a bit of 'tweaking' to get the branches to balance properly. For the money, I think there should have been less installation required.

This lamp, like many on the market today, makes the customer do all the work!
While chic and modern in the photo and packaged perfectly upon arrival, the parts and pieces were a bit puzzling and the plastic was disappointing, it looked inexpensive. I know that costs can be kept down by asking the customer to DIY...however, this lamp is too expensive to ask so much time. Apple products seem to have it right, sleek, modern and none of the plastic parts look cheap...and the customer doesn't do the work. Too much to ask?
