These lights have a wonderful design and shape. However when they are in use the glare is terrible. It does not matter what bulb you use it is not possible to produce a good light. Bulbs are difficult to find and there are no clear instructions what bulbs to purchase. Would not buy these again.

This is a beautiful light. The only complication we ran into was the fact that we didn't order the UL listed model the first time. If in Canada, and building a new house be sure to order the UL listed model to pass our building code.

This lamp is perfect if you are searching for a simple, clean and modern pendant light, in a rather small size (barely bigger than an average bulb). I have used three on my kitchen island, I love them and I constantly receive compliments for them.

Two things to keep in mind: these are transparent lamps, so the lights flows and could get in your eyes, depending on where you hang them- they are definitely not spots. Second, the glass lamp gets dirty from the dust in the air and you will see it when the light is on. Do not buy if you cannot live with it - or clean more often than I do.

The Bulb Pendant Light is a great, reasonably priced fixture that has a simple reductive look --works well with the PAR20 light, making it a nice, semi-industrial clean "working" fixture.

The bulb, when screwed in has a tendency not to sit completely straight in the porcelain socket --but if you remove and unscrew the entire fixture it can be somewhat corrected. Again, as a hanging light you don't really notice this. Works well in many spaces. I would recommend.

The pendant arrived on time, customer service was very helpful on the phone, easy to shop website and good information on the products(pictures of the hardware would be helpful).

I wish the pendant glass had a few options for colors as well the junkbox cap that goes on the ceiling which is white and doesn't go well with the pendant itself. Not a big deal since I can easily buy a different one.

There seems to be so few line voltage pendants on the market that are well-designed, small in size and have adequate light output. Very stylish. Easy to install. Works perfectly over an island or a bar. Note that the base mount will be slightly smaller than the traditional 4" box that your electrician will install for a pendant light. As such, be prepared to caulk, patch and paint around the mount. It's a little extra work, but not may pieces are this stylish for the price.

I just bought my first home. It is a slightly contemporary structure, but I moved by comfort and skew towards transitional furnishings for that reason.

So, with that said, I was down to two varied fixtures to be placed above my new dining table. It was between this pendant and the drum type which is more traditional.

I chose this fixture for its simplicity. I like it because it celebrate lighting with its shape and does not call much attention to itself.

My only disappointment is that the cord has yet to flatten out. Since it is a little twisted, it picks up light at certain places along the cord and not others and therefore looks, well, twisted and unclean.

I cannot speak highly enough of YLighting and their products. We received this along with a large order of various items in a timely and informed manner. Their customer service was purely a pleasure to deal with. This pendant light is lovely and came packaged to protect the fragile glass. It was exactly as I expected. We have not installed it yet, but I have seen the same model at a local restaurant, Proof, and it looks gorgeous with the bulb hanging slightly below the lower rim of the pendant.

I installed a pair of these over a kitchen island, and am very pleased with the results. Simple, elegant, yet interesting design. Used half-chromed bulbs so that the light didn't get in a person's eyes. Given the transparency of the fixture, selecting the correct bulb is key. I've purchased other light fixtures from the Danish firm -- everything they do is fresh, modern, sophisticated but understated at the same time.
