Disappointing in one (fatal, to me) area of design....

Advertised as recessed or surface mount, one would think that consideration would have been given to the appearance should surface mount be the desired application. I was very disappointed when I opened the box to find black wiring on a fixture selected for its white finish. Since I had chosen it to be used as a surface mount, my only options are to replace the wiring or live with black tips showing under white covers purchased separately.
