I have specified this light many times when remodeling bathrooms for my clients. The light quality is excellent when using the tube recommended by Rezek. It gives good illumination for tasks like shaving or make up application. I mount it vertically which makes the light come from the side and gives good light without shadows. The slim profile makes for a minialist look at the mirror. I have never had a client ask to return it after it is installed. They do comment negatively on the bare florescent tube look when I present the idea but after installation they say they don't even notice it is there. It just seems to melt away into the background and it gives the best light they have ever had in a bathroom.

This light fixture took 12 weeks to arrive after being told 4-6 weeks. I bought it for my new apartment which I renovated changing all of the lighting. This was the most simple fixture and last to arrive. It is a nice light but definitely not worth the wait. I would also say the build quality is average.

The light fixture and the clip on accessory are quite beautiful, my experience was a lot of frustration in waiting for the delivery of the fixtures which took 12 weeks. The original delivery estimate was 4 to 6 weeks. So order way way in advance if you are interested in this product.

We needed something very narrow for our small bathroom space and these do the trick. Because they are narrow, they are slightly challenging to install without the back plate (because you have little room for error when drilling for wires and pulling them through the wall). We didn't purchase the diffuser so you can see the metal ring of the lighbulb behind the caps. This doesn't bother us (esp. if you make sure you buy a bulb with silver instead of green) but it is something to consider. Looks nice!

This is the second time we have used the Basic Bath Strip in a bathroom. It is easy to install, and like all things minimalist, it does well in a subdued way what it is designed to do: provide very good light around (or above) a bathroom mirror.

Great fixture, simple and unique. Installed 4' length over a large mirror in a small bathroom to great effect. Build quality in aluminum is quite good, except end caps [in chrome] that look [and are] plastic... not sure why it has to retail for so much. Can be wired from both ends, not just the middle. For a bathroom, my lighting designer suggests a warm 3,000K lamp with the highest color index [CRI] you can find for natural skin tones.

Ordered the Rezek basic bath strip lighting for a bathroom remodel, from the very limited description and almost non-existent pictures I felt I had found a good choice, very minimal, a bit pricey but just what I was looking for (I thought). I was particularly interested in their contemporary designer products and was looking forward to receiving a product that reflected the quality and workmanship I couldn'€™t find locally. After palcing the order we received an Email telling us it would be 4 weeks before we received our purchase, ultimately it took almost two weeks to arrive, free shipping though. When I opened the box I thought there was something missing. The lighting fixtures looked more like overpriced shop lighting than something I would put in a master bathroom, a bare fluorescent bulb in an aluminum frame with cheap plastic chrome end caps, no instructions whatsoever, definitely not what I was looking for.
