The light looks cool, if not a bit strange when it is off. The light probably looks very cool when it is on, but the light bulb that comes in the light is cracked. I am going to write the ylighting to resolve and get a new bulb, but I expect the light to look nice when lit up. Good service and delivery. Light bulb is the only issue. I haven't turned it on, but barring any issues that are unknown I took off a star just b/c of the bulb hassle.

They look like 2 pieces of art on my wall and they give off great light! I have 2 of the Mesmeri wall sconces on either side of a bar/entertainment center. Everyone that has come over has commented on how cool they look. Order came in just over a week. The specs are wrong for the base (I believe it's the original european specs)...these fit a standard junction box.

We are remodeling several bathrooms that haven't been touched for a long time, and without spending tons of money to replace everything, we have replaced light fixtures and sinks, with some new glass tile as accents. This fixture provides very bright lighting, but in a dramatic and unobtrusive way. There is plenty of light directed up, but a thin strip of lighting with a clouded light cover projects down. This makes the lighting over the mirror not so harsh while still bathing the rest of the room with intensely white light. (If your walls are not perfectly dry-walled, you will notice it.) This was a quick fix for us, and given the profusion of "jelly jar" light fixtures found at home improvement and lighting stores, a welcome change of pace for bathroom lighting.
