The electrician just put the fixture up today. It was a little tricky because he had to drill another set of holes to fit it. But no big deal.

This is a lovely fixture which goes well in my 1930s Spanish colonial with the new glass mosaic Trend tile. Thank you, fellow reviewers, because I would have never bought it without all the raves. It deserves it!

On a dimmer the halogen version lights up very well. With a very small footprint (although don't believe the product shots - there's a round plate that affixes the light to the wall, in the same finish as the light) it is perfect for a medium sized bathroom, if you are looking for something modern yet fully functional.

I bought five of Talo Minis for my condo. The design is very contemporary and sleek. However, three of sconces had very visible scratches on the front, and one of them came with broken bulb glass protectors. Artimide agreed to send the replacement bulb protectors, but because I had not discovered the scratches until well after the 14 day return period, they will not replace the damaged sconces. For company like Artimide, I expected much better quality of their products.

I installed the Talo Wall Mini in two bathroom remodels -- a tiny powder room and a large full-size bath -- and it works perfectly in both environments. The 150W halogen lamp casts a bright, warm light that fully illuminates a space without any harshness. Excellent as a light source above a vanity mirror. Don't forget to order the bulb as they're not included with the fixture.

I read through all of the reviews here before purchasing this light and the one thing I saw over and over was that it gives off a lot of light and is great for bathrooms. I needed it for a bedroom. It ends up working perfectly in my bedroom, gives off a lot of light for such a tiny un-obstructive light and it blends in perfectly with my modern decor. I would definitely recommend this fixture to anyone who doesn't want the frosted glass type sconce.

Excellent chrome finish. The difuser glass pieze gives a very nice light eliminating the glare. The allogen light witch is included produce a lot of heat but if you place it higher that normal you will not feel the heat. Installation is very easy . I am really happy with my purchase

Hard to find a really cool light to go over a bathroom sink - this is beautiful in person...subtle and pronounced at the same time. Would also look cool in a hallway. The light coming from them is extremely bright and clean looking - a dimmer is going to be a must though. Be mindful of the mesh-like screen on the top of these lights (not shown in photos), they may come with a slight bend/bow to them and therefore can be seen as sticking-up and not flush when you are viewing from the front or side. I had ordered two of them from a different online company and had to send them back as they were bowing soo much...then ordered from Y-Lighitng and grateful to receive new ones without the bowed screens. Worth the investment overall...they definitely uplift any space they are in.

We are building a Taliesin designed home by John Rattenbury. (1997 LDH) The front entrance has two columns of dark stone so we needed a bright light that was somewhat retro in nature and also should show the stone as well as the light deck that drops over the door. These light were perfect. They are very well constructed with bright up and down throwing light. Ylighting had them hear quickly and when I had a question about my order I was called within hours of my email. I also saw these lights while visiting the Sage in St. Petersburg Florida. They had these in the entrance to this modern rise condo. So these could also be used commercially.

I looked and looked for a reasonably priced, modern light fixture for my bathroom renovation. I finally settled on this fixture, and I couldn't be happier! The light it gives off is clean and crisp, and very adequate as the only light source for my 5x8' bathroom. The fixture itself is very unobtrusive on the wall, which is exactly what I was hoping for. If/when I redo another bathroom in the future, I will be using this light.

We really love this little light. It makes a statement without being garish or too 'over the top'. One criticism is that the holes on the back mounting plate didn't fit our 54 year old wall electrical box, I had to drill and countersink two new holes in the metal plate-not difficult, just another step. Also the lamp ships with a 150w halogen bulb which was too bright for our use. Nevertheless, Artemide has done it again!

I love the quality of halogen light. I would prefer to install this sconce European style (without the back plate) in order to highlight the small scale (it's only 1.25" high) but the good news is that it comes with a sturdy back plate in a matching finish so it still looks and functions wonderfully. I've used it in the polished chrome finish but would love to use it in a satin nickel, if it's available in that finish.

I recieved this fitxure last week and installed it over the weekend. It has an excellent, heavy-duty build quality and due to well designed diffusers, it does a great job of vertically washing the space with light. On my white wall, it its neutral, modern asthetic allows it to blend-in very well. A few tips about this light though, the instalation directions leave a bit to be desired in the details, specifically how to tighten the body of the fixture to the mountng plates usign the two very small dowel-screws - be sure not to forget to do this. Also, for small spaces, the 150 watt bulb is a bit much - I would suggest going to 75-100 watts to cut down on any glare. All-in-all a very nice fixture.
