Simple, clean, and fun

Couldn't be easier to use and a fun modern addition to the bedside table. The material (especially in black) collects a lot of dust but that was expected.

Cool looking but shoddy

I have 2 of these. While they look nice, are light, and small - as soon as I plugged these in the light flickered on and off on a whim. Then I noticed that the switches weren't assembled properly - in fact weren't hardly assembled at all. Within weeks the switches on the electric cable came apart completely with the casing falling off exposing live wires. I tried to put them back together, but the construction and design of these switches is decidedly cheap & substandard and I was never able to get the casings back together properly - and therefore the lights have never worked properly. One is now out completely and the other just trudges on flickering on and off whenever it feels like it.

Awesome retro lamp!

I bought the clear orange Dalu table lamp for my office and have been getting rave reviews from everyone including the night cleaner who even asked me where she can get it. It's well-made and beautiful to look at. It not only brightens up the space but also your mood! I have it for about a year now and it's still serving me well. So if you're on the fence because of the negative review, don't worry. It made me concern at first but am really glad that I went with my instincts.

Great lamp poorly packaged

This light fixture arrived late and appeared to be a second since the original packaging was opened, there were minor scuff marks on the lamp itself that I was able to resolve. It arrived in an old win box packaged with bubble wrap which is quite a departure from the usual great service I have experienced with Y-Lighting.

Not functional

This lamp is mostly decorative. The light is so dim you can only use it like a night light. It does not help as it requires a special type of light bulb with very narrow screw head. You have to be a big fan of the brand and/or the designer to buy a light as a decorative object in your room. If you need a light to read, better choose something else.

Elegant Design, Beautiful Light

I purchased one of the last available œTransparent Red models, and it has quickly become the focal point of my desk and work area. Despite what is said in the some of the negative reviews below, this lamp is highly functional and well constructed, exhibiting a beautiful symmetry that is uncommon in most table lamps in this price range.

Not only is this a wonderful re-imagining of Vico Magistretti's 1969 Dalu Table Lamp, but it also displays a bold modern aesthetic by utilizing a clear plastic shell as its diffuser. The light that is produced is something that can not be described in words, and must be seen to be understood. If you consider yourself an aficionado of art and lighting, this is a must have.
