The story of Astro Lighting began in 1997, when the two lighting enthusiasts, John Fearon and James Bassant saw an opportunity to re-establish British lighting design. Their goal was to bring the awareness to the modern lighting concepts and attract the international audiences.
The Astro ethos aims to create an elegantly clear visual language that not only marks out its product design today but also defines what contemporary lighting can and should be. Astro knows good lighting design should be honest, accessible, engaging and durable. This philosophy is the lifeblood of the Astro brand. With a team of eight creative design engineers, many of whom joined the business on graduation, there is now a wealth of experience to bring to life the Astro ethos of pure, modern and endlessly sophisticated.
