Design by Manuel Vivian, 2012. The Spillray 20 Chandelier features a circular design with the arms emanating from the center. Each polished chrome arm holds a crisp, elegant Pyrex glass diffuser. The sturdy Pyrex diffusers are blown in metal casts to create their shapes. The Spillray 20 features two shapes of glass and provides the illusion of being a multi-tier chandelier. Low-voltage lamping keeps the light source small and the focus on the glass and the polished chrome frame. Spillray is suspended from air-craft cable and can be field adjusted. Available in choice of crystal, orange, red or grey Pyrex glass. Includes low-voltage transformer. Thanks to his family business, he became particularly interested in blown glass. Vivian went on to earn a diploma from the Venice Art institute. Following the success of his first projects in glass, Manuel enlarged his range of interest to various other fields of interior design. Manuel Vivian’s work is created for the "Fly Design" studio which he owns and operates. Manuel Vivian begins his designs by first observing the shapes and environment around him , using this inspiration to freehand design. Trying not to be overly influenced by trends, Vivian uses the marketplace as a stimulus to find other pathways. Manuel Vivian is attracted to natural materials but doesn’t use them often, as they are difficult to manipulate around his freehand designs.
