The suspension version of the Parabola is the ceiling-mounted fixture's swinging sister. The Parabola Pendant Light features a brushed injected polyurethane shade that is painted matte white and fitted with a mirrored center to cover the fluorescent bulb. Miguel Herranz was born in Valencia, Spain in 1972 and studied industrial design at CEU San Pablo Valencia. He has been involved in design projects since 1994 and has worked in diverse fields such as furniture, illumination and the automobile industry. In general, Miguel always works to create pieces that maximize the potential of the companies he works for. He has collaborated with a variety of companies, such as B.Lux, CJC Concepta, Viccarbe, Luzifer, Novum, Chueca, Vanlux, Manufacturas Celda, Indartu, Blauet, Wieden Simó, Comytel, Garogres, Supercerámica.His products stand out due to their individuality and freshness as well as their sculptural and conceptual nature.

The B.Lux group got its beginning as a co-op in Markina in 1980. Designer Guillermo Capdevila created the group's first illumination collection (Belux Systems) in 1980 which was warmly embraced by the American market. By the late '80s, in conjunction with designer Jorge Pensi, the illumination collections in polished aluminum were born, which solidified the association of B.Lux with aluminum allowing the company to become known globally. Today the B.Lux group includes pieces from designers such as: Miguel Angel Ciganda, Jorge Pensi, Manel Ybargüengoitia, Laia Roca, Diego Fortunato, Quim Larrea & Gonzalo Mila, and Josep Novell & Josep Puig.
