Design by Omer Arbel.
Made in Vancouver, Canada by Bocci.

The 14.3 Three Pendant Chandelier is comprised of three single cast glass pendants connected by braided steel coaxial cable to a brushed nickel canopy. Each individual pendant is an articulated, seamed, cast glass sphere with a frosted cylindrical void which houses a 10 watt xenon or 1.8W LED lamp. The glass is available in standard clear or smoked grey color. Unlike most contemporary lighting, the 14 Series pendants are visually quite subtle and are designed for clustering. When multiplied they produce the effect of many tiny candles encased in floating spheres of water. The light interacts with the imperfections and bubbles of the cast glass to make a visually rich halo of light. Cast glass is an organic process - imperfect by nature - so each piece produced is unique.

Canopy mounts to standard octagonal junction box, with electronic transformer fitting inside junction box. Each pendant ships with 10 feet of wire that can be field shortened; recommended minimum height is 12" to the bottom of the sphere. LED model is not dimmable.

Omer Arbel

Omer Arbel trained in the late 1990’s as an architect. He apprenticed under Enric, Miralles, John and Patricia Parkau and Peter Busby, among others; and was centrally involved in several successful high profile building projects and international design competitions.

In 2003, Arbel founded a multi-disciplinary design studio focused on blurring the boundaries between the fields of architecture, industrial design, manufacturing and materials research. This interdisciplinary approach was born of the necessities of building a sustainable and ambitious office in a context with little opportunity within the cultural periphery, but has since transformed into a structure uniquely positioned to explore the rich area of investigation in the overlap of these fields.

In 2005, Arbel became Bocci's creative director. His conceptual approach, now fueled by an infrastructure for prototyping, fine craft, manufacturing and distribution, has given birth to a collection of conceptually driven lighting, furniture, electrical accessories and objects, which have since gained significant presence and impact within the design community.

Accolades include several Red Dot and iF Awards, a Yellow Pencil Yearbook Entry, the Ron Thom Early Design Achievement Award, a World Architecture Festival Shortlist, with Corrine Hunt, the commission to design the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Medals, and most recently a major installation at the grand atrium of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

I am very satisfied with this product.

I received this product in a timely manner and was very satisfied with the look. It was stunning, and the picture barely does this product justice. It was a wonderful buy.

Everything I needed!

We are producing glass countertops and this fixture is simply a perfect fit for them. No fake, the real thing... Classic and modern at the same time. Pure and powerful. Even better than the picture.

Simple understated elegance. This is a gorgeous and truly unique fixture, like floating orbs of crystal water. I did have a slight problem with a fissure in one of the balls on arrival and ylighting was quick to send out a replacement. Their customer service is unparalleled.

Gorgeous designer piece

Looks great and makes the space! Which the housing allowed you to rotate the pendant locations...once the housing is set the pendant drop locations are set.

Just gorgeous

There are other, similar (Copy?) fixtures out there, but the subtle imperfections from the casting process look great whether the light is on or off. The other globes are either perfect, or have too many bubbles, making the fixture look too busy. It was straightforward to install. We really love it
