Subsequently, he lived for three years in Milan, where he collaborated with: the architect Marco Zanuso Jr. in the development of products for companies such as De Padova, Menphis and Driade; the architects Roberto Menghi and Giulio Crespi; the industrial designer Sergio Coppola and the architect Antonio Zanuso in the prize-winning project for the Piazza della Republica. His time in Milan had a profound effect on him. In 1989, he decided to move to Barcelona where he collaborated with Alfredo Arribas, Eduard Samsó and Javier Mariscal. Customer Reviewsfabulous island light for a kitchen This light is going into a new contemporary house. The kitchen area transitions smoothly into the dinning area, with the island anchoring the center. The space has an emphasis on the view beyond the house, and so low profile designs were considered. Another constraint is the California Title 24 law, requiring use of high efficacy lights. This light, and the 07 for the dining table, are a perfect set. The 04 softly floods up and out on the ceiling, while only inches from it. The light cast down is soft and bright. I purchased the dimmer, for greater control. The fixture took months and months to arrive, but it was worth the wait. Also, the fixture had been mis-tagged as an 05, and so it took us some time to work out which lamps were appropriate. Nonetheless, the two fixtures together look fabulous. The look of offsetting these "light boxes" gives a sense of continuity, while showcasing how beautify fluorescent lights have become.
