I did a considerable amount of research on cable lights and came across Ylighting & the Bruck system components. The mounting set was intuitive to install and is very high quality hardware. The entire system is very sequential to complete. That said, there are minimal product directions so you need some mechanical aptitude to install or rely on the help line to fill in the blanks.

Hardware has a very nice clean look. The power feed wire is not through the cable mounts, which are insulated, but through a separate small hole in the wall. The kit provides an insert to give this hole a clean look but the quality of finish on this is not up to the same standard as the rest of the kit. Connectors are provided to connect the electrical feed (nice looking silvered 12 G cable) to the cables. Cable is sold separately by the foot. Be aware the 8 feet of provided feed may not suffice, if your transformer is mounted further away. If you have to extend the low voltage feed with another piece of 12 G wire, use the proper mechanical connectors. My electrician said that the usual wire nut connections will overheat with this load at 12 volts.
