She coursed studies in Economics at Alcala de Henares University in Madrid, before moving to London in 1989. She studied Cabinet Making at the London College of Furniture and completed her BA in Industrial Design at Kingston University. Since 1999 she is a principal lecturer at the Design Department of Goldsmiths University in London. And Since 2006 she is a Senior Design Research Fellow at Kingston University. Since 1999 he is a principal lecturer at the Design Products Department at The Royal College of Art in London. And Since 2006 he is a Senior Design Research Fellow at Kingston University.
