    A shape that is spatial, yet near and tangible, that thrills and inspires a sense of identity through the extraordinary and fantastic. The design creates an optical illusion, where an hourglass shape can be seen from different viewing angles and perspectives.

    Black or white polycarbonate straps are snapped onto an upper and lower metallic ring with an opal glass central diffuser to conceal the lamp.

    Available in two sizes.

    Hector Serrano

    Hector Serrano

    Hector Serrano was born in Valencia, Spain in 1974. After graduating from the ESDI CEU of Valencia, he moved to London to study at the MA design products at the Royal College of Art, where he continues to live and work.

    Innovation and dealing with familiar concepts are the common denominators of Serrano`s projects. The studio`s activities are divided into product design, space design and laboratory work, with a constant exchange between these areas.

    Serrano received the Peugeot Design Award in 2000. His work has been exhibited in Milan, Frankfurt, Munich and New York as well as in several museums such as the MOCA Miami, IVAM Valencia, EACC Castellón and at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum of New York.

    The designer Arturo Alvarez co-founded the company, of the same name, in 1994 and is dedicated to the design and production of decorative lamps with their own personality. All production is entirely hand-made in Spain which results in the creation of exclusive designs with lots of possibilities in terms of materials and compositions. Each product includes labels and are engraved with the brand name in the metal bases to ensure authenticity. The company's mission: "We put all our hopes and resources to provide with hand-made designs, meticulous in every detail and able to fulfill all the lighting and emotional need of any human being".
