It is very unique and nice.

The product was very unique and had a nice elegant look to it. I would recommend this to others.

a hip happening fixture

i really like the changeable nature of this fixture, i hung one above a stairway and it appears to change shape as you view it from different angles walking down the stairs. the polypropylene seemed a little cheap when i opened the box but once installed and lit it looks like a millions bucks. It has a retro- modern feel, without being uptight and overly studied as the true 50's reproduction fixtures can sometimes be.

Great price-performance ratio!

The "Twister" is stylish and easy to look at . . . different sizes give great options. We're using it in a stairway so it balances form and function perfectly. For the price you can't beat it.

Plus, the service from Y-Lighting is terrific. So much easier than sourcing in a design magazine and then trying to find a retailer.

See below.

This fixture is fun yet functional. There is a place for everything. You just need to find that place.

Clever Design

The design gives the illusion of a closed ball - your mind expects to see only colored light emitted from the fixture. But the "hidden" openness at the top and bottom both provided an escape for the white light. It's a very nice effect, especially when illuminating an object placed below the light.

Nice, but different from picture

The one I got in the mail looks completely different from the picture. It is a nice one though.
