It blends into the wall just above our curved headboard so you hardly even notice it's there, and it's an excellent reading light. By directing the lumination to whatever I'm reading, there's no glare on the wall-mounted tv on the adjacent wall. My only disappointment was not being able to purchase the same type of head attachment that's on my older model, but they are still similar enough to where it's not an issue.
