The George Nelson Lotus Floor Lamp is a gorgeous addition to my new home. I have it placed in my bedroom and it distributes a warm ambient light that's perfect for reading. I love this lamp so much, I'm thinking about getting a table lamp version. This lamp was my first purchase through YLighting and it won't be my last as the package came fast and in perfect condition.

The George Nelson bubble lamp (medium) is a classic and I can see why it has been around for decades. The covering on the bubble is an interesting textured plastic that is high quality and gives the light a warm and interesting diffused glow, while providing enough light for reading. I had purchased this lamp and anothe style, thinking I would keep one. This is one of our favorite lamps and we seriously considered ordering the large size for another space in the house, but I had spent enough money this month!

YLighting was very helpful and matched the sale price found at another site. Delivery took about a week.

Ordered Cigar Lamp. Received it via UPS and both base and shade were damaged. (The boxes were mangled, so it looked like a shipping issue). We ordered lamp thru ylighting.com but it was shipped by a store in California. I guess ylighting is a web-based middleman. Anyway, the customer service dept at ylighting was amazing (thank you Sherie) and arranged a call tag to ship the damaged lamp back and replaced it with a perfect new lamp. I would recommend ylighting to anyone. Their relationship with other lighting companies may cause issues...but ylighting takes full responsibility. As far as price...every on-line retailer sells these lamps for the same price, so it is all about customer service.

Moreover, the Nelson Bubble lamps are still proudly made in the United States!

This is a classic lighting purchase. I have mine in my bedroom, but they would do well in a living room or study as well.

This is a great lamp, full of character but classic enough to work in a variety of settings. I paired it with a comfortable chair and ottoman in my living room. I also purchased the Robert Abbey Ariel table lamp and the lines of the two lamps look great together. My only regret is buying the medium - I think the large would be better for most rooms. Also, the shade casts a very bright white color when on in the evening -I would prefer a more subdued glow.

I recently purchased the Lotus Floor Bubble Lamp, and it's made a great addition to my urban style loft. It was delivered promptly and came in perfect condition! It looks modern, yet classic. I got the medium, which is a versatile size. However, if you're looking to make a bold statement, I suggest going with the large.

Definitely like the look of this lamp. The shade is of sturdy construction. However, the stand wobbles a little. I don't know if this is normal or if I got a defective product, but it's okay as long as I don't touch it.

I ordered two cigar floor lamps for my living room. I was scared they would look too generically mid-century sterile, but they don't. the light that comes through the shade is soft, muted and perfect, even with a high wattage bulb. I love the floor switch, which is responsive with barely a nudge of my toe. I highly recommend this floor lamp and Ylighting!

We purchased the largest size of the Lotus Cigar lamp. Quite a splurge for us, but one we're not likely to regret. The lamp is stylish and bright, we use it as a general light for our living room, which has no ceiling fixture. It's big, yes, but the shape is so reduced that it isn't dominating the room. Room for improvement: I wish it came with a built-in dimmer.

We received the lamp in a timely manner, but when we opened the box with the base, the light bulb, which was just wrapped in a thin sheet (bag-like) of styrofoam, had been broken into countless pieces. To prevent mecury poisoning, we had to quickly open the windows, ban the dogs to another room, and vacuumed the pieces. What a disappointment with the packing that would allow the bulb to break!
