Philippe Starck

Born in Paris in 1949, he is one of the most original and creative designers of our time. He has obtained many important acknowledgements such as the Grand Prix National de la Cr�ation industrielle and the Honor Award of the American Institute of Architects, he considers himself as "a Japanese architect, an American art director, a German industrial designer, a French artistic director, an Italian furniture designer".

LOVE IT

Wr found this unique piece overseas and were advised to order it in the states. YLighting had it at a very good price.

A extra surprise is the reflection of the light through the cut crystal on our ceiling!

The halogen bulb has a bit of a glare. We are going to try frosted bulbs. Otherwise, it is perfect!

This is beautiful. It is heavier than expected. We had to make sure the beam would support it. Please note that the support rod is solid and cannot be adjusted. We have high ceiling but our new "taller (bar type) design" table makes the look work. The light fixture makes our dining room look like it should be in a designer showcase.
