David's sculptural wooden furniture and lighting is a new world mix of old world skills and craftmanship, sustainability of materials and purity combined with some high-tech genius. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect This product required assembly. So maybe I didn't read the order properly; but, I have to say it was fun to put together. There is a discovery of the product when you have to assemble it. The fixture is gorgeous, has high visual impact, and a great effect with the light and shadows. Just order, pay and it will be at your door almost instantly. I love this period of history!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The statement piece of the room. Beautiful as a sculpture, and even more magnificent when illuminated and the shadows are revealed. Make sure you have a bit of patience to put it together - the video referenced in the instructions was very helpful. We used this fixture in a bedroom, but it would also look fantastic in a high ceiling hallway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like a 3-D puzzle A little tricky to assemble, but totally worth it. Looks great and casts cool shadows on the walls with a clear bulb.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this light. The light is beautiful. It is easy to put together. However, it is a European design, and the specified bulb is not shipped with the product and is not available in the U.S. Y-lighting did not know about this or help me find one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This pendant lamp is beautiful and modern! I love this lamp because it's a modern yet warm accent to the overall look of the room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The organic quality of this fixture is a perfect selection for our Mid-Century mountain home. The fixture's appearance changes from day to evening. The lamp illuminates the interior side of the fixture at night to create an impressive pattern and glow. It reminds us of the Petoskey stones that we collect along the shore of Lake Michigan. And it works perfectly with the organic theme of our mountain house. We plan to purchase two smaller versions of this fixture for our house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and fairly easy to put together. We're very happy with this lamp -- the shade came out beautifully. The first couple steps of the assembly took a little while to figure out, but once we got the hang of it, it went quickly. (The whole thing took less than an hour.) We got the UL listed lighting kit and haven't had any trouble fitting the bulb into it. We're very happy with this lamp and can't wait to see it in action in our bedroom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a wow fixture, I purchased the 31" for a staircase entry and it's a big presence in a contemporary home, but it looks amazing Comes in a box like an erector set, but went together easily. It's dramatic and perfect in our newly renovated contemporary home.

Some North American buyers have complained that they need a special adaptor to run a wide variety of bulbs. Has this been fixed for our market

Asked by: blackPenquinn
No, this fixture operates off of a very standard 100W (max) 120V E26 bulb that is common to find in any home department store. Because this type of bulb and wiring set is used commonly within US markets, it should not pose a problem with the voltage of a US socket. If there is any concern regarding the voltage damaging the fixture, try using a lower wattage E26 bulb or installing the fixture on a dimmer. can these be installed outdoors?

Asked by: mary mary
Hey there! Unfortunately these are not damp rated or recommended for outdoor use. These are made from Bamboo wood which expands and contracts when it is exposed to excess moisture and the outside elements. They are perfect for indoor applications though. To discuss this fixture in greater depth, or to follow up with anything else, feel free to give us a call anytime at 866.842.6209 and we are more than happy to go over some options with you. what size of the coral pendant should i get for a 60" round table?

Asked by: cathi
Hey there! That really depends on how high your ceilings are and how much of a visual impact you want as part of your design vision. This comes in six size options as listed below. You will probably want to consider the Coral 600: 23.5 inch diameter, Coral 800: 31.5 inch diameter, or Coral 1000: 39.5 inch diameter. If you have high ceilings and want the light to be a focal point, you may want to consider the Coral 1000: 39.5 inch diameter, or Coral 1200: 47"D. Keep in mind that you don't want to overwhelm the space. And need to be sure maintain enough distance from the Table Top to the bottom of the pendant that line of sight is not obstructed when you and your guests are seated. • Please feel free to contact us anytime at 866.842.6209 with any further questions about this product, or to follow up with anything else. Once assembled, can the pendent be taken apart to put in a specialty (big, round) bulb? Only a standard bulb will fit through the holes.
