Antoni ArolaAfter studying at the Escuela Superior de Diseño Eina (Eina Superior School of Design and Art) in Barcelona Antoni Arola start his career at the Estudio Lievore y Pensi and later joined the company Associate Designers. In 1994 Antoni Arola Started his own studio in Barcelona, Estudi Arola. Arola has undertaken design work in a variety of lighting projects for Santa & Cole, Metalarte, B&D, and Viabizzuno. He is acknowledged as a versatile and original designer both for his artistic talents and the inspiration he draws from ancestral cultures, standing out because of his sculptural vision of light. Antoini Arola has been awarded two Delta Design Awards, and in 2003 won the Nacional Design Prize - awarded for "The maturity of a professional career that covers a wide spectrum, ranging from interior design to product design, displaying a great consistency, originality and passion"(jury's note).
