Emanuele Ricci was born near Treviso, Italy in 1963. After receiving a diploma from the high school of agriculture in Conegliano Veneto and a degree from the Milan Polytechnic of Design, he went to work in the Milan studio of architect Gianfranco Frattini for a significant period of time. At the same time he started his activity as a designer with idealism and research being at the basis of his though. Ricci created his design studio, which provides technology scouting as well as corporate image for their clients. The studio has also received several design awards for their work. Emanuele Ricci alternates his activity as a designer his Milan studio with periods of retirement on the hills around Treviso, where he carries out his artistic research. He also writes a monthly column for the well-known architecture and design magazine, Domus.
