Design by Alexander Taylor, 2005.
By Established and Sons.

This design derives its name from the production process where a metal sheet is subjected to multiple folding. This forms the basis of the design of the Fold lamp.

The silhouetted form of the Fold is representative of a traditional, basic light - it even incorporates a classic braided fabric cable. This nostalgic reference to traditional lighting is made all the more potent by the modern materials and construction techniques applied in the manufacture of the lamps. Available in two sizes and multiple colors. Switch on cord.

A strong aesthetic statement in a small package.

Be sure to check out the size of the small lamp before ordering but what you do get is a lot of aesthetic bang for your buck. Established & Sons features really cutting edge designers and the Fold Table Lamp is no exception. They are quite contemporary and the contrasting cord color is a fabulous touch. The perfect look as a desk lamp for my Eames desk. I am more about looks then lighting so be sure gives the kind of light you need. It is pricey for its size but there really is nothing else like it around. It's perfect either for an eclectic or industrial decor. I may be buying another.

Almost perfect

Love the design, and the amount light that it gives off (it is small, more ambient/nightlight versus reading lamp). Was hesitant about the yellow online, but looks great in my home. Would've given 5 stars but there is some paint chipped off the lamp..I'll attempt to fix on my own somehow. Otherwise, very happy with it.

Unique and modern

I bought this lamp in black (red cord) about a month ago. It gives off a soft light, which is what I wanted. Really like this lamp. It's a piece of art in and of itself. Very happy.
