The soft focus and sand blasted accessory lenses create a beautiful effect and just the right lighting and ambiance in the room - nothing glaring or overstated with these!

I ordered all 4 types of lenses to see which ones I like best and decided to get more of the following:
- Linear spread for the bathroom: it 'stretches' the light cone in one directions and shrinks it in the other. Good to get more light into the mirror, from where it reflects into the face.
- Sandblasted for general lighting: Wherever you want to soften the light, this is a good choice, e.g., in the kitchen or the hallway.
- Soft Focus: This keeps the light beam pretty much to the original shape, just that it softens the edges and makes for a smoother look. I used it for a spotlight highlighting a painting.
- Diffuser: I does a good job at diffusing the light, more so than the sandblasted, but it creates a bit of a pattern is not as even. Not my favorite for any location.
