I used this on the ceiling of my remodeled bathroom. It is a great modern addition. Highly suggest you put it on a dimmer, very bright to warm glow.

We've ordered a lot of lighting online and some just don't live up to the picture. However, this one surpassed our expectations. The light emitted is nice and bright. The stainless finish is of good quality. You know the construction is solid since the light fixture actually weighs quite a bit. It really is elegant and modern.

I just installed two of these as wall sconces next to my bed as reading lights. They look great and I love the size. The only draw back is that the glass portion does not always sit straight and I have to move it around so it sits level. If you are a heavy walker, have floors that shake easily or are bothered by something just out of level this might not be the light for you. its a perfect night reading light.

I love the entire Elf series. We have the 8 inch and 12 inch ceiling fixture as well as the chandelier. They are a bit heavy so make sure you have a tall ladder that you can place the fixture on while you attach the wires. The bulbs are not great, I bought three of the 8 inch fixtures and one of the bulbs arrived in pieces. My guess is that they won't last long anyway.

If this is the stlye for you don't hesitate to buy it becasue the fixture is solid and looks every bit as good as it does online. One of the bulbs came broken but YL replaced it right away; good service. In order to get all four corners of the fixture tight to the ceiling I screwed each corner of the metal plate that attaches to the electical box into the ceiling.

I wasn't sure about this light, but once it was on the ceiling it took away all doubts. Putting aside the function (it throws out a lot of light), its appearance is modern, but not jarring. It has the smooth lines I was looking for, and it is incredibly well-designed and solid.

Well made but at $190 only supports a 60 watt bulb - we use this as a ceiling light in a very small guest room but still does not provide adequate light. Construction is quite solid, packed very well.

I had remodeled my bathroom, but I had not ignored my light fixtures. I searched for a flush mount fixture that reflected the sensibilities of sleekness. I was replacing recessed lights which did not provide adequate illumination for grooming and make-up. This unit "shines", it is a flush mount that is not the typically look. It provides brightness with the modern estethic that I wanted.
