I could not ask for a better overal experience then the one I received in ordering and installing the transformer for our under the cabinet puck lights. The transformer was nicely displayed on the web site, easy to order. Ylighting sent timely order confiirmation, shipping, and tracking notifications. The product arrived on time, in excellent condition and with easy to follow installation instructions. Transformer with 185 watt load was initially installed in July 2009 and has been replaced twice. However transformer with 148 watt load was initially installed in July 2009 is still in service. The duty cycle of these transformers is equivalent.

The other transformers lasted about 5 years. I suspect this one will do better. Plus it has a slow turn-on to extend bulb life. Hope it works.

This transformer functions well - that is, it lights the lights and dims appropriately - but I have been disappointed in the life expectancy. Five years seems short to me - altho I have not tried others for comparison. I purchased this from Ylighting - whose customer service was excellent!

The nice thing about this transformer is that it comes with a 3 compartment electrical box. One compartment holds the transformer. The other two compartments are for making the electrical connections. The connection for the high voltage side and the low voltage side are separated, making for a safe install. All you need is wire clamps and wire nuts. Works great and upgraded the wattage on my WAC monorail system with this transformer.

I had around 4" of space in one location and wanted to really do Bruck pendants. There were very few transformers that would fit in that space. This one fit perfectly, and was the only option available. I have yet to see how long it lasts, but so far it worked out well in the space.

These power supplies work great when properly used. You must meet the minimum load requirement, not exceed the maximum load and use dimmers for electronic power supplies if dimming.

I had one of the same transformer installed before this one and it went bad which is very surprising to me. I am an electritian by trade and these items should realitvely last forever for what a homeowner asks of the device. I did write A.I.G and never heard back. That is my only negative, not with ylighting but with A.I.G.
