The lamp I ordered is in the bronze finish. There is no picture of the color options and the bronze finish looks almost black. I am exchanging it for the satin gold which I hope will do the trick. When I called customer service she said the only gold toned color would be the satin gold.

I like the compact size of the pamp, and it's ability to swing up and down as well as side to side.

I have looked everywhere for a practical reading lamp for the wall next to my bed. I think that I have found it.

We just purchased these lamps, and they give off excellent light and look great, too. They appear sleek and modern, yet are very sturdy. Beautiful fixture, excellent quality, easy to install, great mobility plus hi/low light option sheds just the right amount of light when & where you need it. The fixtures arrived quickly and well-packaged. Installation instructions were written by someone who doesn't speak English well, but were easy enough to figure out. I particularly like the fixture's flexibility: you can pull it up & down, left and right and tilt the light itself too. I'd buy these again.

We were looking for two lovely reading lights for our bedroom and knew exactly what we were looking for... something high quality, attractive, adjustable, and with directed light. We were hoping to be able to turn the light on and off right on the canopy, and thought this light had this feature. We were mistaken- the little toggle on the canopy is just to adjust the position without touching a hot canopy. Although these lamps don't have that feature we liked them so much that we decided to keep them anyway!
