I appreciated the communication from YLighting but was not pleased with the manufacturer. By: Anderson Design, (Nashville, TN) Beautiful and well-made This lighting fixture is nicely crafted and well designed. It is beautiful and certainly unique - very nice touch for the right space. I had expected more overall illumination from 2 100W halogen bulbs, but it is not extremely bright. I suppose this is by design - the fixture rests about 1" below the ceiling and has a glass diffuser on top in addition to the one on the bottom. So, some of the illumination goes up to the ceiling. Though this cuts down on the room illumination, it casts a mighty nice, curvy light onto the ceiling. This fixture is not sufficient for overall room lighting by itself.
