Cool and contemporary

Fixture went in our powder room and looks beautiful. Amount of light is perfect for the space we have (only lighting for the room) and very happy with purchase.

Attractive and modern

We have not yet installed this light--that will wait until the bathroom is completed, but we ordered it in advance to see what we need to do re wiring and the box. I think my husband plans on installing a rectangular box like you would for a light switch, to better fit under the small wall cover/box. However, he said you might not even need a box, that you just have wire coming out of the wall and the connections can be made in the fixture itself--that the metal box portion of the fixture that sits on the wall serves as its own electrical box for this fixture, sort of the way some undercabinet lighting bars work. Then there are no concerns about any portion of an in-wall electrical box showing beyond the edges of this minimal fixture.

It is very attractive looking. The glass is high quality and fairly thick. Since it is not installed yet, I am not sure how bright it will be. I would give it 5 stars, but looking at the cut-outs in the glass where the bulbs go, I think it will be a pain to put the bulbs in--there is not much room to maneuver. Also, I'm not wild about seeing the wires in the glass, though maybe when it is installed and above my head, I might not notice. We looked at the Jek light that was similar, but we have a tile bump-out where we are putting this light, and we needed the part that attaches to the wall to be shorter than the Jek light was.

Overall, it is a very high quality and well-made light. I should note that my husband, who will be installing it, is a licensed contractor and does all our electrical work, so he knows what he is talking about.
