A graduate from E.N.S.A.D. in Paris and a recipient of the "Brook Stevens" award from the international design competition in 1967. Between 1968 and 1974 as a apprenticeship in France, he began to work on industrial design projects for French companies in very different sectors. In 1970, he joined the "France Design" group and continued to specialize in plastic products. He has designed products for the most wide-ranging sectors, demonstrating his ability to understand and assimilate various production technologies in response to the requests received. After years spent dedicating most of his efforts to the sports and industrial sectors, his activity has branched out into furniture, including the technical-specialized segment, where he works with prominent companies. It is fully adjustable in length and can be adjusted to any direction. We were very happy to have found this fixture to use in one of our projects. It's a good inexpensive fixture that does not look inexpensive, but it has a few drawbacks in it's design. It MUST be installed on a flat ceiling only and the overall height adjustment could be simpler. Otherwise, I would recommend it without reserve. By: Lighter, Designer (Venice, CA) Beautiful but not practical. The Beluga Steel Pendant light is an attractive fixture which was selected for a retail application. What was not anticipated is that the casing becomes so hot as to cause the mini-floods to burn out frequently. We had 6 burn-outs in three fixtures in less than 8 weeks. The solution we found was to drill holes at the top of the fixture and switching to small, round compact fluorescent bulbs. Not the look we originally wanted, but we have been "burn free" for almost two months.
