Design by Roldolfo Dordoni, 1990.

The elegant gradation of tones in the new selection of colors (white, amber, ivory, gray), the new glossy finish in the blown glass and the black-chrome finish for the characteristic tripod, transform one of the most important pieces in the Foscarini collection into a practically new model, demonstrating its surprising freshness. The refined elegance of Lumiere's personality is thus further enhanced, making it an even better choice for rooms in any style and taste.

An elegant lamp that bridges old and new design styles

This light is both beautiful and beautifully crafted. It has a elegant look and emits a soft light. Each of the elements, the glass shade, the metal stand are well made and have a nice weight, which with a table lamp is a good thing. My room has both old and new funriture and the light fits well with both.

elegant lamp

this is a very elegant, well-crafted lamp. the amber shade is very dark, but illuminates beautifully when turned on. My only design complaint is the white cord. I wish this was threaded through a leg rather than dangling out of the base....
