Design by Diesel, 2009. Cage is inspired by miners' and workers' lamps. The protective metal cage (from which it takes it's name) becomes a decorative element in Cage. Cage emits an almost magical light of varying intensities and can be used in various settings, both at home and in commercial spaces: from unconventional to more traditional spaces. The colored versions of Cage has a dual soul: when switched off, the colors are full and strong and the design of the cage is reflected on the shiny surface. When switched off they change, so that black becomes a warm aubergine. The Grande (Large) version of the Cage Suspension provides direct and indirect light from an incandescent light source and includes 70.8" of field-cuttable cable.
