Design by Roberto and Ludovica Palomba, 2009.
At first sight the wings express a concept of lightness, but they are the result of a long research process using a single mold to obtain a product of the right size with the ability to provide 360° illumination. The transparent form projects the light in the environment and also acts as a screen to avoid glare. This makes the Fly Fly flexible in terms of placement and hanging height.

Roberto Palomba, along with Ludovica Plaomba, created Palomba Serafini Associati in 1994. As architects and designers, their distinctive hallmark has emerged from a capacity to combine a contemporary vision of society and user needs with an extensive knowledge of the historical and cultural roots of design, producing results that blend the past with the future. This unique and personal approach makes them particularly sensitive to issues of function and the need to create long-lasting products, removed from the uniformity of momentary trends.See other lights/products from Roberto Palomba
