By the late '80s, in conjunction with designer Jorge Pensi, the illumination collections in polished aluminum were born, which solidified the association of B.Lux with aluminum allowing the company to become known globally. Customer ReviewsPretty but imperfect: Top-heavy It's a very handsome lamp, but surprisingly -- particularly given the price -- a bit flimsy and not-so-well designed. It's top-heavy: the arms wobble unless the movable joints are tightened all the way (and there's no included Allen wrench, though I had one in my tool kit that fit and so I was able to tighten the joints), and the base isn't quite heavy enough to offset the weight of the lamp head, so the whole lamp is precariously balanced -- it wobbles on my carpet.
