    Miguel Herranz was born in Valencia, Spain in 1972 and studied industrial design at CEU San Pablo Valencia. He has been involved in design projects since 1994 and has worked in diverse fields such as furniture, illumination and the automobile industry. In general, Miguel always works to create pieces that maximize the potential of the companies he works for. He has collaborated with a variety of companies, such as B.Lux, CJC Concepta, Viccarbe, Luzifer, Novum, Chueca, Vanlux, Manufacturas Celda, Indartu, Blauet, Wieden Simó, Comytel, Garogres, Supercerámica.His products stand out due to their individuality and freshness as well as their sculptural and conceptual nature.

    B.Lux

    The B.Lux group got its beginning as a co-op in Markina in 1980. Designer Guillermo Capdevila created the group's first illumination collection (Belux Systems) in 1980 which was warmly embraced by the American market. By the late '80s, in conjunction with designer Jorge Pensi, the illumination collections in polished aluminum were born, which solidified the association of B.Lux with aluminum allowing the company to become known globally. Today the B.Lux group includes pieces from designers such as: Miguel Angel Ciganda, Jorge Pensi, Manel Ybargüengoitia, Laia Roca, Diego Fortunato, Quim Larrea & Gonzalo Mila, and Josep Novell & Josep Puig.

    I arevery happy with the Petite Wall - 2 Pivot lamps.

    Not happy with this light that is very heavy looking; tubing wide and flat. The proportion of the piece is not pleasing, especially in this 2 pivot piece.

    I am an Interior Designer and have 24 years of experience specifying lighting products. When it comes to picking fixtures for my own home, I look for high design at a reasonable price. The Petite Wall - 2 Pivot Lamp meets both of those criteria. The lamps are beautiful and functional. I chose to go with the polished chrome arm and the white shade, which is a transitional combination that works beautifully in our Master Bedroom. I only wish that the mounting bracket was available in the chrome finish to match the arm. The lamps actually have three pivot points which allows tremendous flexibility. At the price of $372.60 each, I am confident that I recieved great design and quality for a terrific price.
