    Looks lovely, but...

    This is a handsome floor lamp. My issue is that the leather covered stem is some kind of lightweight metal tube (it sounds, feels like plastic, but the company assures me it is not) that makes the lamp feel a bit flimsy. Even when unscrewing a bulb, the lamp sways and does not feel stable. I don't think that is acceptable with a lamp close to $1000. Furthermore, the lamp arrived without any paperwork or hangtags. Very odd.
