The Glo-Ball S2 Pendant provides a touch of softness in the master bedroom of our industrial loft. At full strength on a dimmer switch, the light is great for packing luggage, cleaning, and any other work; at partial illumination, it's a softly glowing moon. Great design, superb functionality.

I've been a great admirer of Jasper Morrison and his minimalist aesthetics. Had a professional electrician install the light over our staircase. Everything is great except there is a ghosting / Shadow line that runs down one side of the light. Don't know if this is a defect in my light or if this is part of the design. Otherwise satisfied.

Used the Glo-Ball to replace a builder brass and faceted glass number over a monumental stair with a terrific result! Soft flowing lines of the oversize glass bowl seems to float like a cloud, with minimual attention brought to the hanging and power cords and cables. Generous amount of power lead to accommodate tall and sloped ceilings. Great price too!

We installed two over our dining room table. The central space in our brownstone is dark -- or was, as these lights on high make the space bright in a natural feeling way. Dimmed down, the effect is cozy and intimate. The lights are beautiful, but neutral. A salesperson at YLighting recommended these over the phone. Amazing.

We installed this in our dining room with absolutely no problems. The pendant is exactly what we wanted: nice and bright for Sunday newspaper reading and dims to nice dinner lighting in the evenings. It looks really cool about 3/4 of the way down, like a glowing spaceship.

After searching for something simple and white to compliment cabinetry, I bought 2 glo-balls for an adjoining kitchen and dining area in a NYC pre-war apartment. They look great, were easy to hang, and offer great light. Also, they are truly white - whereas many other fixtures are not. Their simplicity is what attracted me to these fixtures. I highly recommend them!

The 150 watt bulb produces more light than similar fixtures. The frosted glass shade is warm and diffuses the light nicely. Definitely the best "globe" ceiling pendant for the money.
