Bought this lamp to put in my son's room as he didn't have enough ambient light nor was his table well illuminated. The fact you can position the bulbs in literally any configuration makes this lamp completely versatile. I can point one bulb towards the ceiling to increase the overall light in the room while pointing the other down to create very adequate task lighting. And the blue acrylic cover makes it gorgeous to boot. Have had a lot of compliments on the lamp for it's unusual design. Overall, a perfect solution for any room!

I am very pleased with this lamp. Its definitely visually unique. Very functional and flexible for local ambient lighting and focused reading light. I would like the base to be sturdier, especially if children around.

this is a visually interesting if not beautiful light; it goes well with our mid-century modern decor, though the light itself is quite contemporary modern. got the one in floor version in amber and casts a very nice ambient light - which is its intended purpose for us. the mechanism to turn the swivel the half-moons works very well, the adjustable height is a nice bonus; and the built in dimmer is essential; as the halogen lights can be a bit harsh at full steam. like it so much; considering buying an identical set to have a matched pair on one wall of our living room. would be fine in a study, family room or dining room as well

I'm pleased with the quality of the product. It is not as bright as I'd expected and thus while it is effective as a targeted-beam task light it is less effective in providing ambient light.

I had ordered the Pablo lights not really knowing if I would enjoy them or not cause my room has no hanging lighting so these where going to be the primary lighting system, When i installed them I was surprised to see that I really only needed one Pablo instead of two however it looks awesome with both.

The Gloss Lamp is both beautiful and functional. I especially love being able to have one bulb light the desk and the other pointed up to light the room.

Too small issues:

1. The dimmer box is HUGE!

2. If you don't have the dimmer all the way on, it will emit a very light buzz.

Other than that, it's a great lamp.
