It was easy enough to assemble without any help. I used a Philips EnduraLED bulb so I won't have to change it for many years. This lamp looks fantastic when all lit up.

My wife and I fell in love with this lamp, seeing it on this site. We had read a post that indicated some difficulty in assembly. I work with my hands and can see where it might pose a challenge to some, but I had no problem putting it together. It looks great in the space we have placed it and the glow of this lamp is just perfect. Couldn't be happier. We ordered over the phone and the service rep was great to work with.

Unfortunately, the product was defective and wouldn't work. Nonetheless, it appeared cheap in that the outer shade looked like inexpensive plastic. It was somewhat difficult to put together and changing a light bulb required taking the whole lamp apart.

Very nice looking and gives a soft glowing light.

Assembly is terribly difficult. The lamp is unstable and prone to lean. The metal pieces that connect the shade segments are prone to fall out and that is disastrous because they are soooo hard to reassemble. All in all, I'd recommend another lamp.

This lamp is very sculptural and really draws your eye. It glows. Even though this lamp is shown with very modern furniture the curved lines can actually go well with a mix of styles for instance DECO.

The step switch is very convenient and easy to manage. The only problem I had is that the picture of the lamp on the site never enlarged so that I could see all the details. Ordering was easy, and my lamp arrived earlier than I thought it would arrive. Overall, great experience.
