I was looking for an outdoor marine light for my summer house that would withstand the salt air and intense weather conditions. The only material that holds up in that environment is stainless steel. However, it is next to impossible to find attractive lighting that falls into this category. The Saturn Wall Lights had the contemporary feel that I wanted and the ability to be hung outside at the beach. So far they are working out nicely.

I purchased this light to replace one which was purchased from a big-box store. The previous light's so-called stainless finish had rusted heavily after just a few years.

The new fixture is very substantial and well made. It also has a very unique look that you won't see on too many other houses in my area.

My only complaint with it is sealing the base to the wall. It is a shame that they cannot make a gasket of some sort instead of forcing you to use silicone. If the surface is not smooth (like the brick in my case), the base of the light could have some rather large gaps to fill with the caulking.
