Design by Kenneth Cobonpue.
By Hive.

The Kris Kros Pendant Lamp from Kenneth Cobonpue is an elaborate series of randomly cut bamboo twigs that are hand tied to a welded metal frame - this results in a stunning, geometric pendant light. In this design, Cobonpue makes use of single-hand welded metals to form a pendant resembling a beautiful cocoon or web. Provides ambient illumination.

The powder coated metal frame and bamboo give Kris Kross a two-toned but natural color.

Hive developed into a design and manufacturing facility where artists were able to design and create objects for production under one roof. Since then, they have produced a growing collection of lighting and living accessories both stunning and versatile.

Building on a promise of functional items founded by innovative design, Hive cultivates an environment of creative freedom, coupled with a strong sense of aesthetic discipline under the creative direction of Kenneth Cobonpue. As a habitat for designers and artisans, Hive allows its dwellers to experiment with a variety of forms, textures, and ideas, resulting in clever and invigorating expressions.

Hive has found its niche by garnering inspiration from nature and fusing it with a deep respect for handmade production techniques. The preservation of traditional hand working methods allows Hive to perpetuate a component of culture for future generations.
