Don't waste your time shopping at Home Depot looking for something with low voltage lighting. They don't have them. They carry the 120V plastic. These lights are metal, professional, and are 2 inches smaller. They also dish out the light. The Xenon generates less heat over halogen so paying the extra few bucks for them was worth it over halogen. I'm a cabinet maker at heart. These lights were used as accent lights in a showcase cabinet for my children's trophies.

We bought these for our dormer rooms. The ceiling of the rooms went all the way to the roof so there wasn't room to do recessed cans. And , there is only a 2ft width so a ceiling mount light wouldn't fit. These work great as small loth sources. We bought 4 for each bedroom and the look fantastic!!

As an architect I specify this product all of the time, mainly for under cabinet lighting. I think that it is simple, affordable and a good product. We always remove the trim ring so that the light site flush to the underside of the cabinet. I use a frosted lens to disperse the light evenly. One drawback is that they can get hot and turns themselves off. Regardless I love this fixture.

Was so pleased to have found these perfect lights for my Cabinets. They are recessed above my cabinet doors and give a perfect glow to my cabinet doors, I can't say enough about them. Very dependable, easy to install and stay installed, easy to replace lamps as well. As an electrical contractor the worst thing to do is sell and install a product that your customer cannot change lamps from and depend on you to come back free of charge to change lamps because you sold them on the type of fixture.

I expected a quality product from WAC but this lamp exceeded my expectations. I was also pleased with the color of the copper/bronze- hard to tell from online pictures but is more of a medium bronze and the copper tones are subdued. I took advantage of both mounting options-recessed and surface mounted. Install is a snap and WAC has great instructions that are helpful to an amateur like me. Spaced the lights undercounter at approximately 18". Illumination is perfect ! I would definitely recommend these WAC 86 Xenon and would buy again in a heartbeat.

The simple, clean design of these lights was exactly what I was looking for to provide task lighting under upper cabinets mounted with 24" clear above countertop. The fixtures are so low profile when installed recessed that they blend in seamlessly. Though not usually a fan of brushed nickel (too yellow in tone), this brushed nickel finish is not bad and works well with typical stainless appliances. I mounted these 20" apart, and the light output is great. As expected, these fixtures do warm up the inside bottom of the cabinets directly above them, but not alarmingly so.

I'm using them for under cabinet lighting in the Kitchen. I have had several different samples that I have looked at and tried over this past year. All the others were cheap construction without any options. These polished or brushed nickle lights are great because I have built a cabinet bottom (Cherry) that I added to the cabinets that I building and since they are not as thick as others, they will recess perfectly and have a nice finished lip like can lights. I won't have to use the outer case since they are recessed and will have a great finished look to them.

After ordering several lights from various places and comparing them , i've settled on this one. It has all the attributes of a well made lamp.

No skimping on the materials. The body is cast metal and the trim is the perfect match for brushed nickle and stainless steel . The pictures do not do it justice. It has a very low profile when recessed into a shelf. Even the wires are of a quality you generally find on more expensive lights, with 72" of length.

We ordered 4 Xenon 86 button lights to test how many we would need for our new entertainment center. We were originally thinking we might need 2 per cabinet section (approx 20W X 36H), but the lighting was sufficient that we only needed one per section. We like them so much that we ordered more and are also using them as an uplight on top of the cabinets as well. Our electrician has installed separate dimmer switches for uplights and downlights to give us more flexibility and ambiance. YLighting offered the best price on these lights. The light bulbs were also included.

Although I have yet to install these pucks, I am impressed with them. Ordering was simple and they arrived in good order. Only one criticism, I did not realize that the frosted lens were not absolutely necessary but I will probably use them to minimize glare as they are to be mounted rather high.

Best compact Xenon puck lights around. Super easy to install, come with plenty of lead wire for running/splicing, lowest profile around means they tuck up under a cabinet lip perfectly. Chrome looks great but reflects, so go with black if you want them to disappear. Changeable lenses, ability to add a dimmer module in front of transformer. Leagues better than anything at any of the big box stores, and Y has the lowest price I've found.

Installed a bunch of them a few years ago in my kitchen's cabintes and now remodeling guest half-bath and using them again - excellent, looks nice and none of them broke in 2 years. I might suggest frosted glass as an alternative glass to disperse the light.

these were smaller than I though. They hide and fit well under my cabinets, the wires are also very slim and hide even better. got 5 lights and the 150 watt transformer (u could get a 100 watt, but that would max it out and not recommended.) I hid the tranni in the wall; screwed it to a stud. drilled a hole thru the drywall right under the center cabinet and the wires just dissapear. backsplash tile will hide the rest of the little imperfections. bright enough and durable. lots of metal in the product; i can feel the quality. they still get pretty hot though, but not enough to worry.

This button light is great for both inside and under cabinets. It hosts a variety of finishes at a very reasonable price. The only drawback is to be aware that installing this light requires a special drill bit. Once my carpenter located the drill bit, it took no time for installation. Consumer hint, dont forget to order the transformers!

The WAC Xenon button light is surprisingly well made for the cost. It is nearly all metal, with a better than average lens and a durable finish. The footprint is very small with a low profile trim. Installation is very simple (recessed) drill a 2 3/8" hole and push the fixture into the hole. Two spring tabs hold it into place securely. The light produced is simular to halogen in color but with out producing the heat common to halogen lamps. One small con...it is difficult to locate a 2 3/8" hole saw.

This is my favorite light to use either under cabinet or in cabinet. They look really nice "frenched" in a panel. The lighting can be dimmed if need be, but the 20 watt fixtures do not need to be. Most of my customers use these as night lights for entertaining to show off their granite countertops. A much higher quality fixture than you can purchase in a box store, and I install cabinetry for a box store.
