This is my favorite light to use either under cabinet or in cabinet. They look really nice "frenched" in a panel. The lighting can be dimmed if need be, but the 20 watt fixtures do not need to be. Most of my customers use these as night lights for entertaining to show off their granite countertops. A much higher quality fixture than you can purchase in a box store, and I install cabinetry for a box store.

I have these in two homes. Easy to install. Be sure to use electronic transformer if you want to dim.

these lights are the only lv lights I will install into my casework. They are of consistent quality and don't seem to get as hot, and I don't mind paying extra for Xenon

The WAC Xenon button light is surprisingly well made for the cost. It is nearly all metal, with a better than average lens and a durable finish. The footprint is very small with a low profile trim. Installation is very simple (recessed) drill a 2 3/8" hole and push the fixture into the hole. Two spring tabs hold it into place securely. The light produced is simular to halogen in color but with out producing the heat common to halogen lamps. One small con...it is difficult to locate a 2 3/8" hole saw.

Great item. best made that I have found. Definitely better than the typical home center plastic versions.
By:MJ , Homeowner (Geneva, Il)
for the first comment go to an electrical supply and you will locate a 2 3/8's whole saw

This button light is great for both inside and under cabinets. It hosts a variety of finishes at a very reasonable price. The only drawback is to be aware that installing this light requires a special drill bit. Once my carpenter located the drill bit, it took no time for installation. Consumer hint, dont forget to order the transformers!

I have installed numerous undercabinet light systems over the years. The WAC system is far superior to others in both installation and function. Highly recommended.

I like them especially because they are smaller but brighter.

Smaller than other puck lights, good light output. Can be dimmed with standard dimmer switch.

I installed three of these little lights under a slim shelf I built. These lights installed easily and look great. Very good value.

Real happy with this little light. I put a set of three on an overhead shelf I recently built. They look great, were easy to install and shallow depth is perfect for shelving & task lighting. They get quite hot, but what are ya gonna do? (All lights of this type heat up). Very happy with purchase and a great value.

these were smaller than I though. They hide and fit well under my cabinets, the wires are also very slim and hide even better. got 5 lights and the 150 watt transformer (u could get a 100 watt, but that would max it out and not recommended.) I hid the tranni in the wall; screwed it to a stud. drilled a hole thru the drywall right under the center cabinet and the wires just dissapear. backsplash tile will hide the rest of the little imperfections. bright enough and durable. lots of metal in the product; i can feel the quality. they still get pretty hot though, but not enough to worry.

Lights are very well constructed. Installation sheet is well written. Was not happy with Big Box store products and opted to spend a little more - and it is well worth the investment. No plastic, long wire leads - and excellent service. Have bought from Ylighting before and their delivery is excellent. Never had to return a product yet.

After a detailed discussion with Jason (Y-lighting) salesman about my lighting needs, he recommended the 86 Button Light. My wife and I are extremely happy with the results. The units were easy to mount, energy efficient, and give off beautifully uniform light that highlights the curios on display in our living room cabinet. Thanks!

Very happy with these lights, very easy to install and provided the exact undercabinet lighting were were looking for - highly recommended

I searched for a while to get the right lights and the right price and this met all my needs. Cooler than other lamps (halogen).

Installed a bunch of them a few years ago in my kitchen's cabintes and now remodeling guest half-bath and using them again - excellent, looks nice and none of them broke in 2 years. I might suggest frosted glass as an alternative glass to disperse the light.

Best compact Xenon puck lights around. Super easy to install, come with plenty of lead wire for running/splicing, lowest profile around means they tuck up under a cabinet lip perfectly. Chrome looks great but reflects, so go with black if you want them to disappear. Changeable lenses, ability to add a dimmer module in front of transformer. Leagues better than anything at any of the big box stores, and Y has the lowest price I've found.

So much better quality than from Home Depot or Lowes. Great lights!
By:mrunge , Homeowner (Wall, NJ)
Although I have yet to install these pucks, I am impressed with them. Ordering was simple and they arrived in good order. Only one criticism, I did not realize that the frosted lens were not absolutely necessary but I will probably use them to minimize glare as they are to be mounted rather high.
Nice profile under the counter with nice lighting effect on my granite. Simple to install. Lights and transformers are very reasonably priced.

Purchased these button lights after researching many alternatives. Did not want to spend a fortune, but also didn't want to buy plastic "junk". These units are well made, smartly designed, and nice looking. Happy with my purchase.

I bought some puck lights from a big box retailer for my new cabinets. They were made of plastic and were so flimsy, I felt I would be wasting my time installing them on my cabinets. I took them back and got a refund. I found the model 86 button light on Ylighting website and bought them. They are well built of metal. I received my order in 3-4 days. Excellant service and quality lights. I will order again from Ylighting.
Thanks, J. R.

Great product, well made with easy to follow instructions.

We ordered 4 Xenon 86 button lights to test how many we would need for our new entertainment center. We were originally thinking we might need 2 per cabinet section (approx 20W X 36H), but the lighting was sufficient that we only needed one per section. We like them so much that we ordered more and are also using them as an uplight on top of the cabinets as well. Our electrician has installed separate dimmer switches for uplights and downlights to give us more flexibility and ambiance. YLighting offered the best price on these lights. The light bulbs were also included.

A very good button light, Much higher quality than any other brand I have installed and also they look great.

I'm using them for under cabinet lighting in the Kitchen. I have had several different samples that I have looked at and tried over this past year. All the others were cheap construction without any options. These polished or brushed nickle lights are great because I have built a cabinet bottom (Cherry) that I added to the cabinets that I building and since they are not as thick as others, they will recess perfectly and have a nice finished lip like can lights. I won't have to use the outer case since they are recessed and will have a great finished look to them.

After ordering several lights from various places and comparing them , i've settled on this one. It has all the attributes of a well made lamp.
No skimping on the materials. The body is cast metal and the trim is the perfect match for brushed nickle and stainless steel . The pictures do not do it justice. It has a very low profile when recessed into a shelf. Even the wires are of a quality you generally find on more expensive lights, with 72" of length.

I have been using this product for under cabinet and in cabinet lighting for many years. Hands down the best I have found for this purpose. Have always received the product well packaged and in a timely manner.
These are by far the best button lights I have ever worked with. Much better than the cheap kits you get at the home improvement stores. The xenon lamp are great too.
By:Bryan M. , Designer (Nebraska)
i really enjoyed the size of this product. small, and able to be flush mounted. i was surprised at how dim and yellow the xenon bulb was and had to replace w/ halogens. was hoping for a cooler, whiter light.

Great quality light and much cheaper than buying through my local electrician.

Product installed very neatly in a drywall soffit, good light quality. Fast shipping. Would specify again.

The simple, clean design of these lights was exactly what I was looking for to provide task lighting under upper cabinets mounted with 24" clear above countertop. The fixtures are so low profile when installed recessed that they blend in seamlessly. Though not usually a fan of brushed nickel (too yellow in tone), this brushed nickel finish is not bad and works well with typical stainless appliances. I mounted these 20" apart, and the light output is great. As expected, these fixtures do warm up the inside bottom of the cabinets directly above them, but not alarmingly so.

I installed these into new cabinets and they look great. I highly recommend the frosted lens for even lighting.

WAC lighting has added a big impact to all projects we've used them on. We alwaly look to WAC for our lighting needs first. From pucks to pendants WAC can meet your needs.
By:Michael S. , Designer (Lighthouse Point, FL)
Great under cab lights, the best brand I have used. All metal construction, and glass lenses, easy install
I expected a quality product from WAC but this lamp exceeded my expectations. I was also pleased with the color of the copper/bronze- hard to tell from online pictures but is more of a medium bronze and the copper tones are subdued. I took advantage of both mounting options-recessed and surface mounted. Install is a snap and WAC has great instructions that are helpful to an amateur like me. Spaced the lights undercounter at approximately 18". Illumination is perfect ! I would definitely recommend these WAC 86 Xenon and would buy again in a heartbeat.

Very dependable, easy to install and stay installed, easy to replace lamps as well. As an electrical contractor the worst thing to do is sell and install a product that your customer cannot change lamps from and depend on you to come back free of charge to change lamps because you sold them on the type of fixture.

These lights worked perfectly for our under cabinet lighting, we used 8 ~20" between each combined with frosted lens they give very even coverage of lighting
By:Karen G. , Homeowner (bowie, MD, USA)
Was so pleased to have found these perfect lights for my Cabinets. They are recessed above my cabinet doors and give a perfect glow to my cabinet doors, I can't say enough about them. They were also easy to install. Once up , you didn't even noticed that there were lights up into the molding, they are so slim and effective. Thank you for a great product. i will recommend them to all my friends and family. The Big box stores have nothing on you!

As an architect I specify this product all of the time, mainly for under cabinet lighting. I think that it is simple, affordable and a good product. We always remove the trim ring so that the light site flush to the underside of the cabinet. I use a frosted lens to disperse the light evenly. One drawback is that they can get hot and turns themselves off. Regardless I love this fixture.
By:Lisa M. , Architect (westprotp/Greenwich, CT)
We bought these for our dormer rooms. The ceiling of the rooms went all the way to the roof so there wasn't room to do recessed cans. And , there is only a 2ft width so a ceiling mount light wouldn't fit. These work great as small loth sources. We bought 4 for each bedroom and the look fantastic!!

Love these light...use them for all my cabinet projects.
Don't waste your time shopping at Home Depot looking for something with low voltage lighting. They don't have them. They carry the 120V plastic. These lights are metal, professional, and are 2 inches smaller. They also dish out the light. The Xenon generates less heat over halogen so paying the extra few bucks for them was worth it over halogen. I'm a cabinet maker at heart. These lights were used as accent lights in a showcase cabinet for my children's trophies.

These look really great. The delivery was fast and the online service everything they stated it would be. I can not wait for these to be installed in the new kitchen cabinets.
Thanks for the great service.

I selected the bronze color for interior kitchen cabinet lighting. In the stacked upper our contractor recessed the lights. For the lower upper we used the as surface mounts. He also used them for the bookshelf. We have three circuits of these low voltage xenon lights, each circuit has the pucks hardwired in serial, with low voltage Insteon dimmer remotes. We control lighting schemas from an ipad or remote control. It's awesome.
These lights stay moderately cool and cast a modest warm light (I'm not a fan of blue tinged LED). The material is solud, not flimsy even without the puck outer case. High scores here!!
