    Low voltage remodeling style housing with integral electronic transformer for cabinets, displays, soffit and similar low profile applications. Electronic transformer for 12V MR16 lamps, 50 maximum, lamps are not included.

    Non-IC rated, insulation must be kept at least 3" away from housing.

    An exceelent unabtrusive accent ligt

    An electrician installed this fixture in an existing ceiling in less than 1/2 hour. For it's size it puts out a lot of light and is great as an accent light.

    Lights are very easy to install

    I replaced 5 of my HR801 lights in about 45 minutes. They have a much better waranty than my old ones and seem to have an upgraded transformer

    One of the best products on the market.

    After visiting the various websites and numerous lighting design showrooms, I picked the WAC HR series recessed lights for my house. In particular, the HR-801 remodel cans with the articulating arms made electrical installation a breeze. Upon completion of the rough installation, the lamps and trim was a simple snap-in process. Thanks to WAC industries for designing such a great and nice looking product.

    High Quality Product Worth the Money

    I installed four WAC 4" electronic ballast cans 5 years ago. These are well made units with both the cans powder coated black. I have never had a problem with the ballasts.

    In two other locations, I installed two cheap Home Depot units. They are cheaply constructed and have inferior galvanized housings and magnetic ballasts. Since then, I had to return one due to a bad ballast and the other keeps on overheating. These cheap units are a waste of my time and money. It takes time to remove and install new ones.

    I'm buying 2 more WAC units to replace these cheap home depot ones.

    Lovely recessed lighting

    We initially had a few of these installed to replace old cans from the '70s. About four years later, we did an apartment combination and installed about 5 more. I just purchased a few more for a renovated bathroom. I'm very happy with both the quality and appearance of these lights.
