    The Icarus Collection features adjustable pendants with shade options. Defined by an asymmetrical look and a fusion of metal and fabric, the Icarus Large Pendant Light offers an alternative to standard pendant lighting with its innovative design. Balanced and delicate, Icarus provides ambient diffused light and is suitable for damp locations. Slope ceiling adaptable to 45°. Adjustable stem with round canopy kit.

    Shown in burnished steel finish with a spun frost shade.

    Hubbardton Forge, Vermont manufacturer of hand forged iron lighting fixtures, first fired up the Forge in a drafty old barn in the town of Hubbardton in 1974. Hubbardton Forge set out to master the art of black- smithing, mentored by our first "board of directors" - the few remaining craftsman of an industry gone by. Hubbardton Forge scavenged through New England gathering rusting anvils, trip hammers, swage blocks and other discarded tools of the trade.

    Love this interesting light!

    We really like this light fixture, it works well with our modern decor. It's simple, yet interesting, and provides sufficient ambiance lighting. It's well made and came very well packaged. it should be noted though that the shade is more like thick, stiff paper, rather than fabric as described in the write-up. Hopefully it won't yellow over time. Overall, we are very happy with the purchase.
