Humanscale's Horizon LED task light, a visually striking fusion of form and function, is the first utilization of Thin Film Technology™ in a task light. Using a series of high-intensity LEDs surrounding several layers of polycarbonate and optical films, Thin Film Technology produces an ultra-wide footprint of warm, glare-free 3000K light - excellent for ergonomic illumination and beautiful light in any environment. In addition, Horizon's built-in dimmer control provides both energy savings and adjustable levels of illumination.

Peter Stathis is a designtrepreneur leading Virtual Studio, a collaborative design and strategic licensing venture he founded in 1989. Projects encompass all types of high and low-tech products, furniture, lighting, and accessories.
His work is included in the permanent collections of major museums nationally including MoMA NY and the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum. Awards include Chicagos Museum of Architecture and Designs Good Design Award, the IDSA International Design Excellence Award and the I.D. Annual Design Review.
The first recipient of the Smithsonian's Design Minds National Design Award, Michael has been exhibited internationally, including London's Design Museum and the Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum. His furniture and product designs have received more than 200 national and international design awards.
