Great light fixture! We have purchased this light fixture for three bathrooms in our former house and just purchased another one for a bathroom that we are remodeling in our current house. Love the timeless design and the amount of light that they provide. We're satisfied with this light, it went into a fairly small bathroom over mirror cabinet. Provides nice up/down light without blinding front illumination. The fixture is different just enough to give an edge to otherwise fairly conventional bathroom. I would recommend a three light version of this light.

I have two sizes of this light fixture in my bathroom - one on the main mirror, the other above the vanity mirror. While at first I was absolutely delighted with these light fixtures, I now see that they are are slightly off-kilter - the mid portion of the light fixture is not exactly in the middle of the light. Difficult to explain, but the bottom line is that these light fixtures are very close to perfect, but are not, because their measurements are off. Disappointing.

I had to replace the screws that hold the installed product together. The ones it came with were completely impossible to use. I also found that although it comes with three halogen bulbs, one of them only blew only a week after use. I've asked Y-L to replace it and am waiting to see how well they follow up. Having said all this, I could not find a better looking, more suitable light for my bathroom vanity. I love it!

I've had this fixture for 15 years and I still love the way it looks. But those bayonette halogen bulbs are SO difficult to replace. I wish they'd replace the hallogen mounting with something more standard and functional.

This fixture has only the center connected to the wall. It needs end-connections. Also, mine was a little off-level. As a result, it is not flush to the wall, even though it was designed to be.

This fixture looks great in my bathroom. I use it with a dimmer and I get plenty of light. Even though the fixture looks very contemporary, the bathroom is a combination of old and new and the fixture looks terrific.

I bought this for a remodeled bathroom in a one bathroom 1918-built house.

Pros:

- Good light

- Dimmable

- Works well with contemporized, Scandinavian-influenced updated of a bathroom in a 1918 foursquare with craftsman woodwork. Probably could be made to work in a lot of interior styles.

- Minimal in size

Cons:

- High cost

- Only one finish option (would have liked a satin nickel finish)

- Only available in halogen (no CFL or LED option)

I really liked this light because you don't see the bulb from below. You have light cast upwards and downwards through a diffused light. Since it is narrow - it doesn't make a huge impact on the wall but still is contemporary in design.

This light looks great in our master bath over the vanities. We wanted something contemporary but not too funky. The only concern is the light bulbs are a little difficult to find. Also, the light fixture radiates quite a bit of heat.

I would have given 5 stars if the disk that covers the back plate was flush against the wall...I think there could have been a better design for this part. However the light look great.

This fixture is great for bathrooms. Since it has a lens on the bottom but is open at the top, the downlight is bright but softly diffused and the uplight bounces lots of light off the ceiling, creating an overall bright, soft, even illumination. Since the "collars" are thin material, the polished chrome & polished brass finishes look a bit uneven (sort of wavy; we have some existing ones in the house we just bought), but the satin chrome finish looks great. I think the fixture is a bit expensive, but in the past I've spent a small fortune trying umpteen combinations of can lights & sconces etc. trying to get good quality light output like this fixture has, and I like its nice clean contemporary look. So, I'd say it's a good buy.
