From the design-forward Le Klint studios in Copenhagen, Denmark, comes the unique Undercover customizable pendant system.

Created by Philip Bro Ludvigsen, one of Denmark's foremost designers, the beauty of the Undercover system comes by adding at least one, and up to four, patterned or colored films to the inside of a crystal-clear acrylic pendant shade to create a design that is completely unique and individual.

Ludvigsen encouraged Le Klint to get in touch with talented Danish textile designers when it came to putting the idea into practice and creating patterned inner shades. The first two designers to go UnderCover and produce their design offerings for inner shades were Helle Abild and Helle Graabæk. The former is behind the Doodle Dot and Flower Flow series, while the latter has come up with the inner shades of the New Dimensions series. The starting point, however, is UnderCover Basic, which consists of two liners--one white and one frosted--in addition to the basic acrylic shade.

Le Klint has also made Undercover films in the Marimekko Unikko, Joonas and Ananas patterns. These world-famous designs by Maija and Kristina Isola are sure to please.

This Starter Pack includes the acrylic pendant shell, ceiling canopy and cord, as well as a frosted film and a white film; all other shade films are sold separately. For a limited time, in celebration of the U.S. launch of the Undercover System, all system shades are on sale with the purchase of the basic unit; simply add to the basic starter pack to the shopping cart in order to receive an automatic discount on the shades.

Shade dimensions: 13.5" diameter x 11.8" H; 5' clear cord supplied. White canopy mounts to standard junction box. Uses 60W max E26 (medium base) "A" incandescent bulb (not included).
