Bought it for my very small water closet. Nice clean, simple look. Bought the glass incandescent version and am planning on putting an LED bulb in it.

I ordered the incandescent version with the glass shade.

This lamp gives a pleasing light at a very reasonable price. A plus is the standard medium base socket, which allows the use of a LED bulb (bulb should be omnidirectional to achieve the right light distribution). I realize there is also an LED version, but LED technology improves so fast -- any home center will have better, brighter, more efficient, dimmable and much less expensive bulbs that fit into the medium base of the incandescent version.

What's not visible in the picture: the lamp is open at the top, and the polished chrome back is a bit taller than the shade. The bottom is closed (polished chrome), so light shines sideways and upwards, but not down.

I'd rate the included instructions as nearly worthless, but the lamp materials seem solid and substantial and the glass shade looks very nice.

Overall I would recommend this.
