I had searched high and low for a lighting fixture above our dining room table that would complement our modern oceanfront home. This one is is much brighter than most lights because of its many reflective facets and uses only a 100 watt bulb! We have it on a dimmer and it looks great at a cocktail party on a low dim setting and yet we can do homework underneath when it is at its brightest. I was quite surprised when we received it, though, because it is very light weight (made of plastic, not glass). If you don't touch it, you'd never know! For the price, it seems expensive for what it is, but we love it.

The large flat Lighthouse pendant was the final piece in a home-redesign puzzle for us. The translucent style of the Lighthouse shade provides a beautiful, warm distribution of light in the evenings, while nearly disappearing into its surroundings during the daytime.

We had been looking for a suitable pendant light for this location in our house for over 6 months and everything we had previously found was too visually heavy or complicated. The Lighthouse flat pendant, however, blends into its surroundings, making a more subtle statement and serving its function remarkably well.
