Antique chocolate glass layers shades of chocolate and gold in an antiqued mercury glass, conveying warmth and sophistication in this intricate finish. Seeded glass is a hand blown rough glass where the texture of the glass is the most important design element. This rough and bubbled piece is rustic, yet sophisticated. There, they filled their car trunk with interesting garden pots they discovered in a roadside shop. When they returned to Los Angeles, they promptly sold the entire haul to a local florist. Recognizing an underserved market, they began to design and produce their own line of concrete flower pots, only to discover that the rustic, hand-crafted quality of the pieces would make unique bases for lamps. With this conversion, the Jamie Young Company was born. David designed the bases and Jamie designed the shades.
